A seven-day Buddhist trail beginning in Delhi and ending in Bodhgaya, following the route through Sravasti, Kapilavastu, Lumbini, Kushinagar, Varanasi and Sarnath.
Route: Delhi → Lucknow → Sravasti → Kapilavastu → Lumbini → Kushinagar → Varanasi → Sarnath → Bodhgaya
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
Fly or travel from Delhi to Lucknow, then continue by road to Sravasti. Check in and overnight in Sravasti.
Visit Jetavana and the principal Buddhist remains in Sravasti, then travel via Kapilavastu to Lumbini. Complete border formalities and overnight in Lumbini.
Visit Maya Devi Temple and the sacred garden in Lumbini, then drive to Kushinagar. Visit Nirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa. Overnight in Kushinagar.
Drive to Varanasi and check in. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight in Varanasi.
Begin with a Ganges boat ride, then visit Sarnath and Dhamek Stupa before driving to Bodhgaya. Check in and overnight in Bodhgaya.
Spend the day at Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue and international monasteries. Overnight in Bodhgaya.
Transfer to Gaya Airport or the agreed departure point for the onward journey.
