A twelve-day Delhi-to-Delhi itinerary combining the main Buddhist pilgrimage circuit with Delhi and Agra sightseeing.
Route: Delhi → Agra → Lucknow → Sravasti → Lumbini → Kushinagar → Vaishali → Rajgir → Nalanda → Bodhgaya → Varanasi → Sarnath
Duration: 12 days / 11 nights
Arrive in Delhi, meet the representative and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight in Delhi.
Visit selected Delhi landmarks such as India Gate, Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir and President’s House, then drive to Agra. Overnight in Agra.
Visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. Later transfer for the confirmed train or road journey to Lucknow.
Travel to Sravasti and visit Jetavana, Ananda Bodhi Tree, stupas and monastic remains associated with the Buddha’s long residence. Overnight in Sravasti.
Drive towards Lumbini, completing border formalities en route. Visit Maya Devi Temple and the sacred birthplace area. Overnight in Lumbini.
Travel to Kushinagar and visit the reclining Buddha, Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa. Overnight in Kushinagar.
Drive to Rajgir with sightseeing in Vaishali. Check in and overnight in Rajgir.
Visit Rajgir and Nalanda, then continue to Bodhgaya. Later visit Sujata Village and the Niranjana River. Overnight in Bodhgaya.
Full-day sightseeing at Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Vishnupad area and international monasteries. Overnight in Bodhgaya.
Travel to Varanasi and visit Sarnath, including Dhamek Stupa, the museum and Buddhist temple. Attend evening Ganga Aarti. Overnight in Varanasi.
Take an early-morning boat ride on the Ganges, then travel to Delhi by the confirmed transport arrangement. Overnight in Delhi.
Use available time for selected Delhi sightseeing before transfer to the airport for the onward flight.
